PHA DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS 2013 – 2017 (Asset & Facility)

The EH Provincial Health Authority since its establishment carried over the projects that has been implemented by the previous Goroka hospital administration and that of the Provincial Health office for rural health service. Under the current PHA board and executive management, development projects for the Provincial health authority for year 2013 has been carried over to 2017 and some have been implemented while others have again been rolled over for implementation up to now.

Public Investment Projects.

The Public Investment Project for the Eastern Highlands Provincial Health Authority is submitted through the budget and direct to the office of the National Planning for funding. In 2017 the Government increased our funding to include the 15% counter fund funding for the Vamed in construction of the Goroka Diagnostic and Surgical Centre. ( See table for 2017 & 2018 PIP).
