Paediatric is the branch of medicine which deals with the health and medical care of newborns, infants and children and adolescents (age 7 days to 13 years).

Paediatric Health Care Services
- Childrens Outpatient Department(COPD) for all sick babies and children.
- Paediatric Ward - admitted children from age 7 days to 13 years.
- Special Care Nursery(SCN) - for sick newborn and preterm babies, 1 to 7 days of age.
- Paediatric Consultation clinic.
- For review of patients who have been discharged from the paediatric ward or SCN and for review of stable but persistent/chronic paediatric conditions.
- Stabilizing of fractures and dislocations.
- Wound suturing and incision of abscesses.
- Insertion of I.V lines and giving fluids.
- Giving medications - both oral and injections.
- Attach patients to monitors and monitoring them.
- Examining and admitting of patients.
