Accident and Emergency

Accident and Emergency is the front venue of the hospital where people who sustain major injuries as a result of Accidents and Natrual Disaters are seen and treated. Also absolute serious and life threatening patients are taken in for immediately emergency care.

So the Accident and Emergency Services is where people who have severely injured or who fall very ill are treated and care for. The Emergency Medicine Physician is in charge of Accident and Emergency unit.

We have four(4) Examination rooms with one(1) Surgical room in our Accident and Emergency unit.

Accident and Emergency Health Care Services

• Triaging - Health Education/Advocacy.
• Resusitation/Intubation of patients.
• Shock Management
• Attend to airway compromise patients.
• Stabilizing of fractures and dislocations.
• Wound suturing and incision of abscesses.
• Insertion of I.V lines and giving fluids.
• Giving medications - both oral and injections.
• Attach patients to monitors and monitoring them.
• Examining and admitting of patients.
